When life is sweet, say thank you and celebrate. And when life is bitter, say thank you and grow. ~ unknown
This week when we honor the heritage of our country, I’d like to suggest that you take time out to celebrate yourself!
If it’s been a challenging year, and we all have times when it rains on our parade, there is even more to praise for having gotten through it. Sometimes it’s hard to beat our own drum and we need a little help. In this article there are ten good suggestions, in case you are at a loss.
Tomorrow is the 4th of July. I’d like to add another suggestion. As you celebrate the jubilee of festivities that are planned for Independence Day in your community, tap into your inner child. Walk in the parade, deck yourself out in red, white and blue, run in a gunnysack race just for the pure fun of it. Toast up some marshmallows and don’t worry about your waistline, find a swing set in the park and find glory in the feelings of freedom as you soar clear up to the sky.
Find your own bliss and celebrate life!
